Hi cham and lush,

I've been MIA from the blogging scene lately and mostly because i've either been studying for this bloody assignment due next week, or just plain malas. I opt for the latter since i;ve been such a lazy bum2.

My weekend went pretty alright, lonely tho. Slept over at sue's for the weekend and watched a movie arah the ODEON, STEP UP with channing tatum. He's really2 hot in that one..and who knew he could dance?? Amazing!!

Welll...this post sebenarnya was inspired when i was in the bathroom and thinking of random stuff to put in the blog...and one idea came to mind.What are the things which you don't have to worry about living here?

So.......i've made a list. TAaaaadaaaaaaa....hope u like it, and u're free to add on to it.

THINGS WHICH YOU DON'T NEED TO WORRY ABOUT LIVING IN THE UK

1. Chocolates supply won't melt cause England is so bloody cold most of the time

2. No ants in the kitchen or your room..(big plus for me)

3. Getting sunburnt...not likely to happen for these 4 months.

4. Getting sweaty...again because its so so so cold.

5. Showering twice in a day...once is enough thank you very much.

Reason? (a) It's such a hassle.

(b) The water's too cold

(c) More stuff for laundry

(d) Esuk sama jua mandi

(e) Nobody cares if you mandi once or twice.

6. Coming home late and being scolded by your parents "ada org jahat krg....jga kau"...sorry mum.

7. Being sloppy in your room and not having someone nag you because of it.

8. Knowing someone just because he/she is anak si atu yg nininya c polan and stuff like that...here...we're NORMAL.

9. Being caught in traffic since we walk almost everywhere...cheapest form of transportation ever!

10. No mosquitoes and hence...no mosquito bites. Nyahahaha.

That is my list for the things which you don't have to worry about being in the UK. Maybe you guys kan sahut me with another list of things which we DO need to worry about in the UK. I can think of 10 already. Hehehe.

Open House in Leicester with M'sian Society

hey readers, a special shout out to elush and meez who i am sure is to read this ;)

'twas such a beautiful day today.. sunny and warm but a bit chilly but lawa nonetheless.. hehe the weekend was a little slow but managed to finish the assignment i've been dreading the whole week that's like due tomorrow..! hahahaha at last... buleh lagi buat report.. ish na ku pandai.. hahaha macam the tutors ajar in the lecture pun some of the info yang dorang include macam irrelevant.. prasan ku lah..

talked to elush for like 40 mins kali on the phone while watching c yus main footie and macam panjaaaaaang ceta kami sal macam2!! lushhh!! ke london lah for the weekend for the raya celebration!! i got u a ticket!! meez!! help me convince her! ya takut pigeh sorang2 naik train.. uhu... o0o0o that reminds me, i need to check out the thetrainline.co.uk or nationalrail.co.uk for train schedule dri cardiff k london/leicester tuk c lush.. come lah lush... hehe u will have to travel alone sooner or later so might as well be this time.. ;) hehehehe we'll have so much fun i promise!! hehehee i miss you two so very much that i think if we were to meet up the three of us i might just cry randomly.. hahaha but then again that may just be the PMS/hormones talking. i really wanna see u both togeva!

oh.. yesterday, we had a raya open house di leicester uni by the malaysian society! and macam nyamaaaaan habees ya punya makanan! u know wat.. i have this theory:

ALL MALAYSIANS CAN COOK! THEY REALLY CAN!! EVEN THE BOYS!!

like the other day right, we had nasi impit/ketupat and lodeh and kuah kacang and they MADE it THEMSELVES arah Hazel 7! NYAMAN!! and also masa rah 1st day raya, ada c 'Sungkai' ya buat ayam rendang... PHEW nyamaaaan! i tell u!!! di leicester ani na pandai lapar!! ada saja kan di makan!! cemana kan kurus ni.. haiyaaa... but seriously, i thought coming here id lose weight.. HAHAHAH YEA RIGHT!!! makaaaan tia ganya kaja ku!

oh and i got a raya card from mummy dearest and aku macam tenangis.. uhu.. pilu ku.. mama was like... 'first time away from raya ha? sabar k? fi sabilillah..' uhuuu macam rindwu habees lah saya..

the past week has been a week of indulgence!! hahaha so teruk la... went shoe shopping! initially to buy a nice pair of heels for raya.. haha and then came across this:



believe it or not it only costed me 5 quid!!! woohoo!! bargain or wat!! hahaha and yus punya choice ni.. hehe not bad yea? ;o) and look!! its cork!! gw sukaaa bwanget cork!

then on a saturday after netball practice, yus and i decided we needed to get proper running shoes for my netballing and his futballing so we went to the city and checked out JD sports and dint find nyfin i like so went kesebalahnya , sports world, and ada a 17 quid pair of shoes yang ada MY size!! hahaha thank god for small feet sal they just happened to be yang for juniors-kanak2 hehe yatah murah! huhu here it is:




after paying for it at the till, 'twas on thy'st way to the exit then terserempak this other shoe converse yang na payah shoe lace hehe and it was only like 15 pounds! haha apa lagi! meliat klu ada size lah!! self service lagie tue! muahahahahhaa yus and i liked it sooo much, we both got a pair, me a size 4[my birthday is on april the fourteeth just FYI ;)], and yus a 8.. hehe and now we walk around with identical shoes and theyre like soooo cool!!

haha i'm a sucker for bargains! hahah like a big punnet of big strawberries at the market for like a pound! huhu, poundland and poundstretcher and the depot! hahahaha tsk tsk tsk.. thanks for introducing the strawberries and how to eat 'em with susu manis meez!! tis an addiction i tell you!! hahaha ok, till next time!

Raya and dark rolling clouds..

First of all...Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri!! Just wanna take the opportunity to say sorry for all the mistakes ive done to hurt or offend you, either intentionally or unintentionally. In other words...im sorry now...and if i do it again...i'll say sorry next raya...hahahaha..

How's your raya going so far? Mine has been going okay-ish. Well..there was the open house at ezah's mum punya apartment to look forward to masa 1st day raya...so thats not too bad. At least ada jua feel raya atuu..and there were kueh everywhere..haha. So i was pretty content and right now aku kanyang berabis..alhamdulillah. Hehe.

Apart from the festivities...ive been feeling pretty crappy. I don't know if its just because of raya away from home or not seeing or talking to u or being alone in this place or a combination of all of those but i feel so down.

And im waiting for my parents to call so i can properly cry and let it out so i'll feel better afterwards. Tapi so far, i havent had that yet. Mcm..id start but its not a full on cry fest so its a bit disappointing. Im left all disgruntled and stuff. Ish..

Its as if all week long a dark cloud has been hovering over my head, its thunderstorming and the cloud is getting heavier n blacker by the day but it hasnt reached its breaking point yet. Just needed to let that out coz my mind is a mess right now.

I dont mean to ruin ur raya mood..maaf zahir batin. Hehe. But yeah..thats my week so far...and it's not even the middle of the week yet. =S

I actually wanted to post a bunch of pictures dari raya celebration kami di liverpool ani, but i dunno how todo multiple images and have it not end up at the very top of the post.

This is just a short post

I just wanted to say hey and see how u were doing. Hehe. Aku dgr ko arah ka fizah malam ani, ada tahlil kah? How come aku selalu chatting sama c yus pulang and not you? Cmon man... i need to talk to u sometimes, bukan lagi sometimes....all the time! Hehehe. Creditku pun kan habis....so chatting is the only other option. Unless you call me up...hehehehe...please do beng..

Raya is coming soon....inda kerasahan puasa kan sebulan udah apa lagi the feel for raya....mcm nada ahh. I think i'll miss salam-ing my parents masa first day raya and going to my nini's house..im gna miss the kueh n the duit raya. Im gna miss getting paning in the car udah kan beraya2. And i'll miss not being able to raya with the girls, like actually get in BB or Carlos and visit ppl's houses properly. Sighh....miss the good old days.

In Liverpool there's gna be a small raya celebration thing arah apartment parents si ezah. Parentsnya coming up from London and theres gna be proper malay food....i hope....so i can't wait for that. I hope u n yus have a good first day of raya...i promise i'll make the one in london count nanti.

I just want to THANK YOU for giving me a weekend to remember. I actually cried all the way to Nuneaton that night. Mcm..tarus2 tia i had to leave..sedihku.

I had such a good time with you and yus and mas. I can't think of any other combination that works so well. Im gonna say it again...we, the 4 of us make a good team. Apanyangku? Yin and Yang... Its true you know. Hahaha.

I actually felt a little lost not having you around udahku dibilik ani, mcm i expect you to pop out of nowhere. Its been less than 24 hours and already i miss you, i even miss yus. Calie wah kamu 2gether, inda karing gusi sama kamu, which is a good deal. Baik happy dari inda kan.. i think i'll miss that the most.

Insyaallah kalau ada extra money, i'll come visit u again, or u can come up kah, whichever. But...what i know for sure is that i am definitely gonna see you for raya di London and the BruManch Talentime. Now im thinking of joining jua...ahahaha. Just for the fun of it. I'll let you know my travel plans nanti ah.

Anyways, thats all i have to say. To sum up, i loved the weekend i spent with you guys and wish i cud do it every wk. I loved your hospitality and your city, such a cool n cozy place, siok to just walk around and pass time. I loved the fact that you're here in the UK, at least i know you're sorta near. I loved that i got to stay up late and borak2 with you and have great sleepovers arah newarke point n waterway. Pokoknya everything was siok that weekend. I loved the fact that i got 2 pairs of shoes for 11 pounds saja. Bargain!

I love you to bits you know? Im even startng to love yus a bit too. Hahahaha. Nadadeh. (that jumping-pointing motion inspired by jamie foxx) Hehehe.Paksa tah ku nunggu jumpa kamu lagi before i can do that properly. Hahaha.

Rock 'n' Roll in the 1960s

Hi cham!!

Yep, 1960s rock n roll, that was the topic of my lecture today. Cool ah. And it was a different lecturer and i really liked her, mcm siok caranya beckp, but bnyk pulang notes ah. Inda ter-concentrate at what she was saying.

Anywho, my day started off pretty groggy. Ko tau dimalam, aku tdor kul 2 finishing drawing up the stupid storyboard, abis udah skill melukis ahh. But it turned out alright lah. I suppose. So slept at 2, woke up at 5 to sahur, then read a bit, then tdor balik at 6, then bangun at around 9. Bunyinya mcm hectic....i so cant wait for the weekend! Dapat jua sleep in, well...most of the time.

Selalunya the module on Wednesdays for me are a bit dull, maybe its because of the lecturer, kdg2 it seemed to go on for longer than 2 hours. Pasrah ku meliat jamku everytime and when aku liat pun, on 5 minutes has passed. 5 minutes which seemed like 15 freakin minutes! Tapi surprisingly, the class tadi was siok. I enjoyed it.

Im sorry if im going on and on about my class today, but i feel like i have to share. It was about the British invasion of Rock n Roll di US. And the woman made us listen to songs by The Beatles, The Who, The Kinks and The Rolling Stones. You know how much i like 1960s music kan, so it was really cool to listen in, makes me want to go out and get their album, kalau ku obsess lagi, go out and get their VINYL album. Capi udah tuu.

Its times like these where i miss Capital Gold, how useful it wud be to have it around so i can dgr lagu2 lama. Its so relevant for this module. Sigh...but i did ask syazwie to download all these bands punya lagu tho and burn it on a cd, coz i really2 wanna listen. Kalau ku kan minjam dri OP sini ani, malu ku jua krg drg liat aku and say...'you don't know The Who? Where have u been all your life? Under a rock?' Hahaha. Malu jua ku tue.

You know, from ur posts, u even sound like how yus would sound. And i know thats crazy to detect through a post, but yeah, cara ko taip up ur post mcm ia. I can just imagine you saying that arahku and id go...'cham...stop it! You sound like yus.'

Uh-oh, you have been hanging around him for too long, you need new blood. Don't worry, me and mas will be coming this weekend, inda jua saturated banar timemu ngan si dia.

Oraits, thats all i have to say this time, but maybe i'll write in lagi later. Ko tau aku suka beckp? Inda?? well...you do now! Hehe.

2 days to Leicester...and counting!!

Hi cham!!

Oh my God! It's so good to hear from you. Mcm..texting pun nda satisfying. I feel the need to talk to you in person! And i can't believe i'm only 2 days away from seeing you. IM so EXKITED!!!

So, i should really be blogging about this dimalam, tapi dimalam i was too swamped with work and the heaters in my room drove me insane...yatah malas jua ku memblog. Plus, i didnt want to blog banyak2 when ko balum banyak posts mu...nda fair krg.

Dimalam was the very first time aku masak dihalls ku punya kitchen. For once, there was noone in the kitchen cooking jua, and the common room looked clean for once.

And you know y ia bersih? It was because masa ptg atu, when i got home from lectures, i was so bored and jobless, aku vacuum wah common room ah. Vacuuming has become my new obsession disini ani. Gerigitan ku meliat common room atu, its so bejurit, so aku vacuum berabis. Bisai jua usulnya once i was done.

I started cooking at 6 i think, and i made the easiest dish in the world. Pasta with ready made tomato sauce. But, aku campur boiled veggies and cheese and sos cili maggi. Tapi it looked really nice. And my side dish was wholewheat bun, aku grill and smeared with butter. Is your mouth watering right now? Hehehe.

So, remember my housemate James? Yatah..ya masuk dapur wah, and ia liat aku masak and he said "what r u cooking?....smells nice". And aku senyum saja, saying its just pasta.

Then siap udah ku memasak, sungkai ku...sekalinya ia masuk balik kitchen with these really short shorts. And he went..."what do u think?". Aku ketawa saja..and said..."hmmm..sexy." Tapi in a sarcastic way. Hahaha. Calie. Ia kan pegi clubbing, so drg bebaju catu, pakai shorts saja. And he said he should eat something since he'll be out all night. And he was looking in the fridge for food bah, so bepikirku...y dont i offer him some of my pasta since aku buat banyak. Sekali ku offer tah..and ia mau!!

But i said it wasnt anythin fancy or anything, just biasa...main campur2 ganya. Sekali ya makan and ia kenyamanan! Nya.."this is nice, whatd u put in this?" Hehehe, iskiku meliat ya mkn ah. Ia ckp im his new best friend, or something like that. Hehe. Ani baru masakkan yg main campur2 saja, alum lagi banar2 ku memasak. Hahahaha. Indaku tau ulahnya cana udh ku masak banar2.

And he said he'll cook for me next time. Imagine that! For once a guy who WANTS to cook for me. Hahaha. Terhiburku malam atu walaupun sungkai sendiri. Hehe.

Bah, can't wait to spend the weekend with you. Kan melukis ku dulu.

Icham: from where i come from its no biggie.. brunei is quite liberal in that sort of thing.

pas atu ya start ceramaha aku sal how being in a relationship is against the religion and stuff like that.. and i was like inda jua papa asal no 'hanky panky' wahh.. sasak kue!! and then after class we went to morrisons to get spme stuff tuk d masak and ko tau!!! hahaha masa ya tanya aku mau bali apa, and i said i wanna get fish.. u know wat she said???!?!?!?!

'i wonder how stupid she sounds right now....' wahahahahaahahahaha ada halal fish panya... hahahahahaha yatah nya c yus ' lain kali mazhab nya..' hahaha kaaaan?? macam eeeeeeeh?? hahahaha paloi lah.. ya atu.. macam panjang lagi ceta nya ni .. to the point where ya ani hypocriticaaaaal habis.. banci ku! atu tarus ku tipon kaming and she was like 'you better watch out for peepol like her..'

awu ehh!! geyla kalieeee... and it doesnt help meez, that she's in my group that my tutor assigned me to! shit! hahahaha sabar saja.. at least i dont have to hang with her like 24/7.. o0o0o0o0o0o0o that would be horrendous!

oh!! ko tau urg malaysia panggil sungkai apa?? IFTAR!!! COOL AH?? hehehee sakai ku mendangar.. and also riatu kami ada meeting up with all the bruneians di lester di rumah senior kami.. inda ramai ko tau bruneians di sini.. and i met yazid and he said he met you last weekend in liverpool... panya geprennya urg lester..

oh and i played netball with the malaysians here... siok!! lama dah inda main! yang sakitnya.. posa2 wah main ah.. gila... baru tah ku pernah.. well, at least it was not hot.. so i realy shouldnt be complaining.. huhu

i really cant wait for you to come here.. yea it costs £20 but dont worry, aku tanggung smua makanan mu k?? selimut tuala hairdryer smua ada!! talkung pun jantah bawa... uhm...

today i had this lecture on business computing.. BORIIIIIIIIIIIING HABEEEES! i really wishi i dint need to do this module macam smua udah ku blajar in business class dulu.. macam snooze fest wah tadi ah..... it got sooo bad.. like 15 mins into the lecture people started to whisper and stuff but later into the lecture bising wah dorang ah.. macam kasian jua lecturer nya inda kana pay attention.. he was a real bore lah.. i have to say...

mmbah, aku ciao dulu k? aku ke town jap.. hey, did i mention my uni is like 10-15 mins walk to the city centre?? haha siok ah.. i have been in town literally everyday!! kekadang boleh 2 kali sehari!! hahaha handal jua udah tue! mmbah.. nando's sini sedang menunggu kehadiran mu..

Hi Cham!

I just got back from Nandos and kanyang habisku. I ate really slowly coz i wanted to savour all the flavours. Nyaman sekali didunia. Hehehe.

The price..kalau kali 3 wah...mahal pulang, but kalau inda dikali 3...its the standard price. I mean...it would be the same spending budget if we were eating out arah places like TPH or Taurean di Brunei. So...i guess its okay.

Getting to the place was a problem, we actually rounded like 2-3 huge buildings before we found where it was. Padahal we couldve gone thru a shortcut. Hehe. Calii...and it was freezing. The wind was so sajuk and so gusty.

Then, kami makan arah tingkat 2 of Nandos and rupanya ramai lagi urg Brunei, but i didnt know anyone of the, Ive never met them before. And they looked kinda older. Since they were at the far end of the table, i couldnt be bothered to make small talk. I was too concentrated on my food. Hehe.

then, i went to the toilets, which was so far away, had to go down 3 flights of stairs before i got to it. Hehe. And the funny thing was...di dalam jambannya ada music wah, and it was the latino/samba kinda music. I so wanted to dance. So...aku tunggu dulu org lain keluar and made sure none of the stalls ada urg.

As soon as the other lady keluar and the door swung shut...aku start menari. Siok sendiri aku ahh. Hehe. I did all the hip Salsa movements, siok!!Haven't danced in a while to that kinda music. Revitalized me somewhat. Siok lah, walaupun dijamban. Hehe

Well...i guess it'd be sorta impossible to get a guy who fits all this criteria but im optimistic tho. Tapi krg because i have a list...its hard jua coz u tend to want that guy to fit the list and u sort of dismiss those who are nearly perfect but not exactly perfect. You get me?

Di Uni ku ani ramai laki2 lawa, mcm guys so handsome n attractive, tediam ulihnya. Hehe. I even have this roomate or rather flatmate who's a guy, James namanya. Handsome. Hehe. And he's doing civil engineering which tells me he's smart and he's tall!. You know how tall guys get to me. Hehe. But, he's nice, ia ada bawa aku beckp masa atu. Nice piece of eye candy too. Haha. Mudahan tah ia nda tebca blog ani. Hehe.

There's a lot of potential disini anie, but nooone in particular has caught my eye yet. Im gna give it time. It'll be so much easier if the guy does all the chasing. Hehe.

Just wanted to post this really quickly before i forget.

You know how you and i have been friends...well...best friends for quite a while now right?

Well...im looking around my room and came to the realization that you and i took quite a lot of pictures of just us. Just the two of us. Banyak, i think theres like 9 pictures stuck up in my room. And thats not including the ones yg i havent put up yet. And those doesnt include pictures yg ada muamu. Banyak sekali.

Leicester or Bust

HI CHAM!

Just bear with me for another post ah.

The other day u texted me about going there this weekend, and im so sorry but i have to take a raincheck on that coz aku buat plans udh dgn the Liverpoolians.

But i am thinking of going there next weekend. Hehe. Ive been checking the train schedule and everything and im just preparing my journey to Leicester. Since my class finishes at 4 on a Thursday, i could catch the 5 pm train ke Lester and reach there by 7 n finally balik on a Sunday but the times im not quite sure. Conpius aku.But its like 24 pounds kah. Mahal ahh. Well..its less mahal than going to London...but still. Hopefully aku dpt my debit card by then supaya sanang.

So...what i need to know form u is that....
i) Where will i be staying?
ii) All my food n drink semua boleh ko yg tanggung for the weekend im there? Hehehe.
iii) Where will u be taking me?
iv) Ko ada tuala extra n hair dryer? Coz aku nda mau bawa tualaku yg basar atu.
v) Bulihku minjam shampoomu saja kalau aku disana?

Hehe, These are all the necessary things i need to know mate. Insyaallah kalau evrything okay, saya akan berhijrah ke Leicester next weekend for the weekend (does that make sense?). Mudahan tah evrything okay. Amiiin.

Crash and Burn

Hi cham!!

Another post, alum ku puas.

Well, since the last post was about how my day went..this post was how my night went, well, my evening lah.

So, it was raining pretty hard when i got home and stuff and i didn't like the feeling of your jeans getting soaked. Hate that feeling. Me n sue kinda promised each other that we'd cook tonight eventho kalau simple berabis gnya, asal ada bah.

Original plan was to cook at my kitchen since arah c yuud punya kitchen they cook around 6-6.30. so krg mcm berabut. But..when we got to my kitchen, these 3 chinese girls sedang memasak udah. And they were cooking stuff yg mcm healthy banar2 ani wah. Like sayur sayuran. Bisai pulang tapi the smell menusuk ke kalbu yo. Tajam wah. I didnt noe what they put in there, but we had to leave the room and go to yuud's place.

We made boiled eggs and beans. all pretty simple peasant food. Then i tried to cook this potato dish which i got from c Nigella Lawson punya website, its like potatoes with cheese (parmesan n cheddar) n milk, topped off with Ritz biscuits. Prasanku nyaman wah, dari bunyinya udah. When i tried it, it was not bad...but it wasnt great either. Mcm...no one wanted to rasa. And i made like a lot! I think we ate only 1/5th of it. I had to throw it away coz aku nda mau simpan. Sayang i noe...but i apologized to God already, and hes cool with it.

So thats where i crashed and burned...my first attempt to cook was horrible. Mainly because im not used to the kitchen n i dont like urg menyamak2 and have stuff everywhere which is 1) Not mine 2) I cant use 3) the damn small space.

Bottomline, i don't like cooking beramai2. Membari malas...

But the company tonight was great. I love flatmates si yuud than i do mine. Not that my roomates is inda great, but i hardly see them, and they hardly see each other, so aku pun malas. Arah c yuud atu homey rasanya, u have people to talk to and urg2nya mau bawa beckp.

So, theres Jack n Tim who are best friends from Hong Kong. Their english is bisai, nda sebuting2 drg menyabut. Drg crack sikit, beibun saja bah. Then theres Camilla from Oxford, whos doing History n English, then theres Sarah from Cambridge who's doing Sociology n Archaeology. And then theres Fizi whos malaysian tapi nda hang same kami tadi.

Siok lah tadi kami ckp2 sama drg, drg bawa beibun n bawa beckp n stuff. I especially like c Jack n Tim, they can be funny. annoying ada jua. U noe my potato dish atu? Drg rasa one potato n said it tasted weird. Haha. Bayie. Banar pulang...but say it closer to my face y don't you. I wasnt insulted or anything coz i noe it was crap that thing atu.

Anywho....thats how my night went. How did urs go?

Hai cham!!

I was so glad u wrote in the blog. Calie ko ani ihh. It just reminds me betapa rindunya aku akan dirimu. Haha. Ko tau, this coming 19th, will be sebulan udah kita inda bejumpa. Welll..that is if we dont jumpa next weekend and im sure we will. Insyaallah. Amiin. Hehehe.

Well...today my classes were pretty okay, just went to seminars/tutorials. From 11-12 then another one at 3-4. Aku suka yg the 3-4 tutorial, coz it was the 'Analysing Communication' module of my course. And sekalinya...we had to do this rough draft of this advert assignment due next week. Aku buat advert on a brand of perfume and i called it POISE. And slogannya "be in control".

Why i picked the name n the slogan? Poise ertinya "a state of balance" and in order to be in a state of balance you have to be in control. Get me? Hehe. I was impressed with myself actually for coming up with that.

Sekali we had to do this kinda story board kinda thing where u describe the scenes u wanna put in ur advert. So..this was how mine went, mind you, its supposed to be a 30 sec advert but rasaku mine ani mcm panjang.

The scene opens with a HOT guy sitting at a sidewalk cafe minding his own business and behind him its just urg sibuk with their daily routine. All of a sudden he hears a "spritz" and the scene goes black n white. He sort of stops what hes doing and kinda catches a whiff of something. Then a spritz again..and hes up from his seat and frantically looking for the source.

And the music that goes with it is this haunting piano n violin duet, moderate in tempo but kinda speeds up as the scene progresses. Kinda like searching music (eg Vanessa Mae's Night Flight) and hes kinda frantic looking for this girl. Mcm the scenes/clips laju unravelling. Everytime ada spritz atu the scene goes black n white. And voiceover "i must find her".

Then, the music will reach a crescendo and stop all of a sudden n replaced by heartbeat..the guy's heartbeat. Because the guy is getting closer to the girl. He found her..shes behind a desk and theres a long que in front of her. Then a close shot of their eyes meeting. (Mata bertentang mata lah kononnya) Hehe.

Then the guy sort of pulls her up to him and says..."ive found you". And the girls goes to touch his face and says..."Get in line then". She then grabs a random guy from the que and walks off without a backward glance at the guy. Then funky, girl powerm upbeat music plays.She sort of looks directly at the camera, smiling devilishly n waving the bottle of perfume, POISE.

Then the last scene will be a still shot with a voiceover saying..
"Poise....be in control".

What u think? The description saja panjang bunyinya, but i think it'll fit in 30 seconds. Haha. And my coursemates really liked my idea, they said it was witty and the name n slogan of the perfume fits. And the twist at the end...noone kinda expects that. Hehe.

Suka hatiku....mcm...i feel like i belong. And there were some more good ideas around the class but mcm i felt the most prepared..well...presentation wise that is. Alum tau how i'll write it up.

Nya c yuud nya OPs anie confidence level drg tinggi berabis, like, even kalau drg buat salah or dont do anything at all, they still are confident abt it. And udah ku liat coursemates lainku atu...im thinkin....eh....banar jua ahhh. Tau cakap wah saja drg ah.

Well...thats my post on how everything went in class today. So far everything going well. Just cant stand one class. Still getting used to that one.

Atu saja dulu, sorry kalau banyak banar. Hehehe.

Hijrah ku ke Lufbraaaaaaa

kemarins, yus and i went to lugboro.. ahaks.. aka loughborough aka lufbra tuk dgnkan c yus mengambil barang nya yang kakanya tinggalkan d rumah c yasmin and masnur.

inda mahal ko tau trip k sana dri cni.. klu kai YP card only like 2/3 quid.. and the journey lasted like 15 mins? inda batah lah pokok nya.. and from the station we took a taxi and macam jauh panya rumah drg c yasmin ani dri the station.. baik jua kai taxi! and the taxi driver was this oldish pakistani yang kurus habis and masa ngangkat2 barang atu inda ya tebala.. hahahahahaha palui... gugur lagey tu oleh nya.. hahahaha

udah tah atu ah... ya brake lagi lambat ah... eh sasak kue eh.. kan melatup saja kepala ku.. and when we told him 'its the next left' like 2-3 times just to let him noe, macam marah tia pulang!! caya kue.. nya nya 'yea i heard you!' ehhhhhh I HEARD YOU NYA!!! kurang asam banar pakistani ani.. mana inda ku DAHUP.. hahahaha nadadeh.. klakar ku bah.. ok.. udah atu kan udah sampai ke destinasi, caya ko.. kami kan unload the stuff.. yang BANYAK AND BARAT HABIIIIS, tahan2 ya dalam driver's seatnya.. kurang ajar!! inda lagi mau menolong!! caya ku!! skali nyangku, 'U mind giving us a hand here mate?!?!?!' eh.. ilang cool ku eh.. hahaha palui banar eh...

astaghfirullah... mencabar 'kepuasaan' ku! hahaha menaip blog ani pun macam adrenalin rush kue.. hahaha palui...

HEY MEEZ!

OMAIGOD GITU LHO! rinda bwanget sama lho! today has been slow.. woke up at 8 to jalan to get stuff done like get an internet connection d bilik and getting receipts for my tuition fees.

dari rumah trus lah gw pergi ke rumah c yus and we left for the income department and guess wat! buka nya kul 10! ehhh sasak kue eh.. tapi takpe... at least i managed to come online here. huhu and post this and itdoesnt help that it started to drizzle on my way here..

ey meez, aku kir kan wah, kalau hujan sini paksa tah bejalan bepayung tu ah? hahahaha macam its sooooo english!! hahaha caleyy eh..

i'm adapting sooo slow to my new environment and having to step ut of my 'comfort zone' i like to call, has been real tough.. macam selalu biasa bangun pagi, jalan sama ko tau c yus and makan breakfast [hahaha padan tah lampuh!] and then go window shopping kah... aero kah.. hang out liat tv saja kah.. hahaha aduii.. ani mana2 mau pergi mesti jalan kaki.. jauh again! haha hey! i shouldnt be complaining ...! haha my uni is smack right in the middle of the city centre... hahaha hampir jua lah meez..

for the past few days i have had to buy stuff tuk bilik apa and ko tau apa!! POUNDLAND is my NEW fave shop at the moment! huhu simply because everything is only a pound and macam kadai uras!! sana ada kah? klu sana nada, aku bawa ko ke poundland di sini ah?

i wish u were coming over this weekend.. uhu.. tis like 'behapa ku ah weekend ani...' hahaha ko kemari aku bawa ko makan kebab and pizaa rah dis kebab place called TIPOO[pronounced TIPU] and macam nyaman banaaaar!! and also nando's and ko tau sini ada dixy..? haha cool ha? we have a like 2 small shopping malls.. kecil but at least ada all the high street brands.. like primark(also one of my fave shops sal murah!) huhu and H&M.

haha panjang dah panya aku post ani.. sorry meez, i got carried away.. pasal aku lum jumpa ko for so long wah ni..! i NEEDS to see you!! uwaaaaaaaaaa mm bah, signing off.

Another dreary day in Liverpool

Hi cham,

Before i started this post, it started to drizzle. Talk about bad British weather...sigh...udah tah tadi berangin sajuk mcm esbok, ani ujan tia. Dear God, im sick already as it is, can u please give us a little sunshine? Thank you.

Today was a hilarious day, i woke up around 8 am, because my class starts at 10 and so i got ready and did my hair. I was finished at 9.30 and played around with my laptop for another 15 minutes. I got out of my place at around 9.45, got to school ata around 9.50-9.55, and guess what?? I didnt noe where i was supposed to be!!

The people waiting around were none i had ever seen before and i was just confused! I was sure my lecture was at that room. Sekalinya.....i came at the wrong time!! My lecture was supposed to start at 12 and end at 1 pm. How stupid of me. Shouldve checked bnar2 the night before. I mean, i cudve had like 2 extra hours of sleep or sumthing. Hehe.

But at least i got things done in the morning, like get my student id card and go to the bookstore (eventho bukuku nada).

This was meant to be a short post, and once again, i have gone overboard. Hehe. Sorry again cham.

New surroundings...new adventure

Orait...here goes the first entry...

Assalamualaikum everyone, or echam alone. The 1st of October marks the 13th day i have been away from Brunei. And it's been a really hectic experience, getting to Heathrow..going thru medical checkup...heading to Brunei Hall and finally getting to Liverpool. Everything's been sucha rollercoaster ride, im still catching up with the emotions.

As you know, im studying Communication, Media and Popular Music at LU (Liverpool University) and i have been to a week's worth of lectures and seminars already. And i must say, the modules so far are really interesting, like Musics of the World and Music, Cinema and Broadcasting...but tends to be confusing. By confusing, i mean they tend to bring up stuff from the UK saja, and i'm the only asian in my course, and coming from an ASTRO background seems insufficient to being from a SKY background. They're much more exposed to the media than we are and got me feeling a bit worried.

But, insyaallah, i'll be able to persevere and get over that obstacle because this is what i'm passionate in and i want to be able to graduate and bring something back to Brunei. Hopefully to shake things up at RTB. Amiiin.

To tell you the truth, i was really scared to leave Brunei. I still am, kind of. I think it was 2-3 days before i was supposed to fly off to the UK, i couldn't stop crying. I mean, it got so overwhelming that the thought of leaving my wonderful family and my comfort zone made me cry. The littlest thing could just set me off. I mean, u experienced it cham, i cried in your car the day i was supposed to fly off. Remember? It's so heartwrenching this experience.

I thought my tears were all dried up since i cried almost every night before my flight, rupanya ada lakat. It got worse at the airport! Its so embarassing to go through the gates with splotchy red face and blocked nose but the emotion was so intense bah.

In the plane pun i kept seeing my dad's face, my mom, jim n pis and teenoi and i kept tearing up. It was so silly, i mean, noone else in the plane cried. There was this feeling of loss settling in my gut. I was leaving something behind..

After a few days in London and subsequently in Liverpool, i started to get a grip on my emotions. I had to, because there was no way i could move forward if i didn't. But..at certain times..homesickness does appear..esp at nights when u don't have much to do.

The bottom line is, i miss my family and i miss home. But otherwise, Liverpool means new surroundings which means new adventure. Insyaallah i'll make the most use of my time here and not think of Brunei and family too much.

Sorry for the long blog cham, but its official opening, so mesti banyak. Hehe.
